You can now create and run protocols using the new Opentrons Flex Absorbance Plate Reader! The Opentrons Flex Absorbance plate reader allows you to completely automate sample preparation, loading, and measurement from an absorbance of 400 – 1000. A list of API commands can be found in the Opentrons API documentation page.
You can now create and run protocols using the new Opentrons Tough PCR Auto-sealing Lid. This new style of plate seal allows you to completely automate adding and removing PCR plate seals. This labware is perfect for experiments with multiple thermocycler incubation steps and can prevent evaporation and cross-contamination.
We have added more error recovery features to the Opentrons Flex. You can now recover from errors involving the Flex Gripper as well as tip drop failures. You can customize where your tips are dropped and even disable error recovery if your application requires it.
