Quick Transfer allows users to create a simple transfer protocol using only the touchscreen located on the front of the Flex – no protocol file or coding required! Routine pipetting tasks can now be easily completed on the robot, guaranteeing reproducible transfers with automation.
End users now have the ability to dynamically update protocols by specifying a .CSV file from their computer at run time through the Opentrons App or directly on the Flex touch screen via an attached USB drive. See the Python API documentation for more information on adding CSV capability to your protocols.
The Flex now supports a wider range of partial tip pickup configurations. Includes 96ch single tip pickup (A1, A12, H1, and H12 nozzles only), 96ch single-column and single-row pickup, 8ch single-tip pickup (A1 and H1 only), and 8ch two-to-seven tip pickup (starting at H1).
Recover from errors during a protocol run on Flex. If certain types of errors occur, you will have the option to manually correct the error and resume your protocol. Follow detailed recovery instructions on the touchscreen or in the app.
